March Madness is not really a thing in our house because we don’t like basketball. But when soccer has championships, the men folk go crazy and we lose them for a few weeks

March Madness no necessary mean (to me) basketball. It’s convention time in my business and maybe little vacation with my family.

I am a football and basketball fan. I flow from football season right into basketball season. I am a die-hard Lakers fan and after the Superbowl, I follow them faithfully. I follow college football at the same time as the pros. I love the excitement of the March Madness tournaments. I usually root for the underdogs in the tournament, unless my favorite team (UCLA) is playing.
I got a chance to go to an NBA finals game. It was the Boston Celtics playing the Houston Rockets in Houston. I was visiting my dad and a good friend of mine was very good friends with one of the Boston players. He got us court side seats. Woohoo!!! I got to sit under the basket and watch the game from there. I got to meet some of the players after the game and went to a club with them in the limo. I also flirted with them a lot! (I was single at that time) I had sooooo much fun that night. It was one of the best times of my life.

I use to love to watch March madness on TV, the Yankee’s, and hockey with my Dad but after he passed my Mom prefers not to watch sports of any kind; which is fine, because I love to read! LOL!
So, my March madness is reading even more than usual to help get through some sad memories.
